Hello everyone! In this post I will show you a nail art made with the holo foil from Lady queen's website.
As the base color I chose the Kiko 266 and I applied the foil over it. On the middle and ring finger I made a different design with silver nail polish.
This kind of foil is a little bit different from the regular ones and when you apply it, it doesn't stick evenly on the nail. But this is not a big problem with this sort of design because it's almost transparent and only gives some reflections.
I wasn't really sure if I like the effect, when I was in the house I didn't like very much how it looked but on the direct sun light it's actually pretty cute.
This manicure lasted a little bit less than my usual. After 2-3 days the foil started to lift at the tip of the nail so I have to remove it at the 4th day. I don't know why this happened because I have applied 2 layers of top coat, as usual and of course I secured the tip of the nails too.

Ciao carissima, non è male l'effetto finale, certo che pero se dura così poco è un pò una seccatura. Generalmente su di me uno smalto mi piace se dura una settimana. Un abbraccio =)
ReplyDeleteSu di me solitamete gli smalti durano sempre almeo 5-7 giorni. Qui purtroppo il foil ne ha ridotto la durata (pero lo smalto da solo ha una buona tenuta)

ReplyDeleteFor the application you will also need a foil glue (I usually by it online). So you have to apply the glue over the nail (like a nail polish) and wait until it dries (It will became transparent). and the you stick the foil on your nail. The final step is a top coat to protect the manicure.
