Fluffy flower

Hello everyone! Another Christmas nail art!
I wanted to do some velvet nails. This is the first time that I used this kind of powder so I was very curious to try it.

I didn't wanted to do a simple velvet mani and just cover all the nail with the powder so I chose to do a fluffy flower. I started with a gold french that I outlined with red dots. Next I painted the flower with acrylic paint. Then I applied two coats of top coat (cause I will not do that later).

To stick the velvet powder on my nail I used clear nail polish.
The result doesn't satisfy me very much and also the velvet effect disappeared very quickly. The surface of the flower is too too small and so the powder came off more easily.

Have you tried this kind of powder before? How was your experience?
Thank you for stopping by. :)
