Essie 21 flawless

Hi everyone!

Today I will write about Essie nail polish. I bought it some time ago in Italy and it was on 50% discount! And how could I miss that lucky chance? :P
It's a muted pink and I think it's perfect for this season.
The consistency is ok and so i the drying time. The brush it nice flat and rounded, and I really liked it. The application was easy. I have applied two coats.

Misslyn silk touch 06 + review Lady queen's rings

Hi people! XD

Today I decided to show you a swatch of my latest purchase. It's The Misslyn silk touch 06, a very delicate shade of pink with a little bit of shimmers inside. It has a nice satin matt finish. I have applied 3 coats to reach the maximum of the color, but 2 coats could also be enough. The brush is a little bit small and rectangular. The formula is liquid but is not too difficult to work with. The drying time was ok.

I wanted to make some vintage inspired nail art. I have seen a lot of version of this kind of design on the web and I liked it so I decided to recreate it. This are the nail polishes from the last spring collection form Essence. I like this shades very much! :3

Pink for Valentine

I am sorry for the quality of this images I don't know what happened... but all of them resulted a little bit blurred. However I hope you could appreciate the nail art.
To make the ribbon I have used acrylic paint and the technique of one stroke and I bordered it with black paint. In the middle I added a half pearl and that's it. For the other nails I choose do to something very easy.. just a few dots with a pretty big dotting tool.

I wanted to make some more nail arts for Valentine's day but I think I will not have enough time. So I propose to you only this nail art. But you can check out other nail art in my gallery which are also suitable for Valentine.

 Today I will show you a new technique. I have experimented a lot the acrylic paints and now it's the turn for water colors. It's a little bit more complicated than the acrylics because they are really diluted, so you have to prepare properly the base. You could use a matt top coat or you could use acrylic as the base (instead of the nail polish) but whatever you choose the surface must be totally matt or the color will not adhere to the nail.

Sweet spring

For this nail art I used nail polishes from the Essence spring collection. I really loved this collection so I decided to buy all 5 the nail polishes included the grey (which is supposed to be used for the stamping). The colors are really nice and soft.
For now I have tried only this two colors and I cold say that you'll need to make at least 2-3 coats to obtain the full opacity and a homogeneous color.

Let's try a holo nail polish. Finally I have bought one of those. This one is the Pupa holographic 2391 038.

Leopard Pink

Cool leopard effect with crackle pupa nail polish. Really easy to do. :)
